Is there a "time" reference for schedules? Gordian RS Means = Cost? ie, install 10k steel (of SF) for bldg
Would it be useful? Sometimes it is not the project or schedule that is late, it is a bad completion duration based on conventional construction practices (yes, a contractor should see that - but most will take a (too) short (aggressive schedule) job knowing they can extend it one way or the other. I have worked for enough contractors to know they do not overly analyze that aspect in fact - I often see a too high bid that incorporated the schedule vs the winning bid which was the contractor who knew they could push "delays" to construct without the extra cost (such as extended hours, weekends, mult. crews, etc.)
