I am new to Planning Planet and usually i have a couple of people I consult to when it comes to P6 questions but they have never dealth with this issue before and if they have, they have done it in a manipulative way.
So here is the issue, i have an activity which is for Spray Foam Insulation. My specification specifically states i cannot have another activity happen at this time or 24 hours after this activity. Thus i make this activity 2 days long, one for the actual spray foam insulation and one for the 24 hour waiting period. I have the proper predecessors and successors but i have other activities that are happening at the same time. I do not want to tie these as predecessors to the Spray Foam Insulation because the sequence will not make sense, the client (Army Corp) will not approve of that type of sequence, and in the long run i would rather have an accurate schedule to begin with. How can i make this activity (whether it is some sort of setting or such) happen where no other activity can happen. Only other way around i see this is if i make it a 5 or 7 day activity allowing me wiggle room for this activity to happen. Please let me know your thoughts.
