October, 2006 Between September 1998 and October 2006 I worked for Laing / Laing O'Rourke as a site based Trainee / Assistant Planner, Planner and Lead Planner.
During this time I worked on several projects including:
- Project Planner on the P21 Rochford Scheme which involved both new build construction and refurbishment of existing buildings to produce an integrated inpatient mental health facility,
- Project Planner at Westbridge Wharf, Leicester where we construceted a 10 storey and a 12 storey appartment block,
- Project Planner on the JRSLA (Junior Ranks Single Living Accommodation) which involved the phased demolition of existing accommodation and construction of new (in 5 blocks) on a live Army Barracks,
- Asistant Planner on Freeport Village (shopping village), Braintree, Essex.
