Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team.
Undertaking cost analysis for the ongoing expenses of the project.
Assisting in establishing a client's requirements in terms of legal contracts & payments.
Performing risk, Earn value management and cost control.
Monitoring of budget, financial status, client payments, subcontractor payments & contracts scope of works.
Handled claims & variation management.
Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed & visual progress reports of the project.
Prepare client interim payments and review & evaluate completed subcontractor monthly progress payments.
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
Prepare Extension of time (EOT) calculation if any approved by the client/consultant.
Team lead the QS department to review & prepare the calculation of Variation Order Request to the Client/Consultant.
Review the subcontractor Claims & variations order request before submitting to the Client/Consultant.
In charge of monitoring, managing & implementation of Subcontractor contracts.
Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecast.
Prepare Cost comparison & analyses of subcontractor quotations.
Assist the Contract Manager of any correspondence required to the Client/Consultant.
Project Estidama coordinator & Construction Environmental Plan representative of the project.
