Work as a Senior Project Controls Manager managing the $40B Measure R program to improve Los Angeles County transportation infrastructure. Deployed on special assignment as Project Manager to manage the design and implementation of the Project Management Information System (PMIS). Supervise six implementation consultants in design, prototyping, and roll-out of enterprise wide business management system for capital program management. PMIS components include five separate software applications covering scheduling, resource management, project collaboration, document control, change control and cost engineering functions. Applications include: Oracle Primavera P6, P6Web, Contract Management, SharePoint, and EcoSys Financial Manager. Responsibilities include staff training, mentoring, writing board status reports, managing budgets and forecasts, coordinating scope with outside departments, soliciting customer feedback, and giving presentations. Also responsible for project controls team delivery of Goldline Foothill Pasadena Light Rail Extension and Expo Phase 2 Santa Monica Light Rail Extension projects valued at $2.2B. Revenue service anticipated in 2016.
