"Effective Implementation of the Project Control System" by Pradip Mehta
Abstract: This paper examines some of the human and sociological elements which contribute to the success or failure of a Project Control System. It includes lessons learned from the Author’s experience in implementing an Enterprise Wide Project Control System to support an Public Agency’s 9 Billion – 5 year Capital program. It also describes ways in which project control professionals can maximize their effectiveness during project execution and thus increase value of their services to the project team.
