Is FF required to close the activities having more than excepted float ?

hello all,

 

I fully aware that best programme mainly in construction industry are driven either by SS with lags or FS but we also needs to close the activities with FF , mainly those activities having more total float then excepted.

Is there any other way round then not be using FF in the programme to close the activities.
