August, 2012 Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimate / quantify work items based on approved construction drawings, existing field conditions and specifications.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower, materials, and equipment schedules.
Prepare quantity take-off and evaluate cost proposals.
Prepare accomplishment reports for sub-con billing and performance
Ensure the implementation of the quality plans and objectives of the department and project assignment.
Perform tasks in accordance with the processes defined in the company’s QEHSMS Manual.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders, advising on procurement strategy.
Visit building sites to monitor progress.
Preparations of Scope of works as needed for the nominated sub-contractors contract packages items.
Performing risk and value management and cost control, and allocating work to sub-contractors, and providing advice on contractual claims, valuing completed works and arranging payments.
