Responsibilities/Experience
- Use of P6, Suretrak and Microsoft Project.
- Establishing, updating and maintaining of project schedules in Primavera for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning to ensure that all levels of schedules in all areas of assigned responsibility reflect the accepted project execution logic, identify key interfaces and project milestones.
- Monitoring progress and generation of progress reports at all levels of summary.
- Interface with other project staff for collecting progress data, resolving schedules issues, and for maintaining a coherent scheduling and progress database. Development of workaround plans in late areas is also required.
- Develop databases using Microsoft Access, using VB to tie P3 and the databases together for easy current reporting for the PMO office.
- Loading and maintaining approved labor budgets and generate resource histograms using Primavera database, develop the yearly Business Plans
- Analysis of the critical path and the provision of schedule reports for project management purposes.
- Develop proposal schedules and cash flows.
- generate graphics/reports for Project Managers and Clients
- generate monthly Progress Reports and Summary Level Schedules.

- co-ordinate material deliveries and schedules for up to four manufacturing facilities around the globe per project.
- review vendor/subcontractor schedules i.e. structural steel fabricators and conduct on site meetings at the facilities to ensure schedules are maintained.
- Developed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in conjunction with Project Management Team and Team Leaders.
- Prepare detailed CPM Logic Diagrams in conjunction with Project Manager, Team Leaders and Department Managers.
- Took a pro-active role within the Project Management Team and acted as assistant to the Project Manager on project control issues
- Communicated frequently with all the functional teams to expedite deliverables and action items and to ensure that works are performed on schedule and within budget
- Provides coordination and expertise to the disciplines and to the Junior Planners in the application and operation of P3 Project Management and Planning Software
- Develops and Earned Value based performance analysis system and ensures that the project schedules are structured to accommodate accurate statusing and reporting
- Prepares Manpower Loading Reports for all Functional Departments.
- Highlights problem areas during schedule updates to the Project Manager in order to minimize schedule impacts and devise workarounds, if possible.
- Generates “What if” scenarios for Manpower and schedule issues.
Monitors and updates schedules with progress for all Functional Departments, Sub-Contractors and Site installation. - Prepares various spreadsheets such as Material Delivery, Risk List, Deliverables List, Progress S-curves, and other company standard matrices.
