P6 Resource assigments as gantt chart?

Hi all,

I remember being able to view the resource assigments in P5 in form of bars on a gantt chart pretty easily. Now, I cannot seem to find any way to do this in P6. The oracle help files refer to Resource, then clicking 'Resource assigment tab' on the navigation bar. My navigation bar, which sits above the main window below the menu only shows a back, home, dir and help button. I am using the 'Assigment' tab on the left hand menu.

Am I missing something pretty obvious?
