Design Build Finance and Operate Joint Venture between Amey, Sir Robert Mc Alpine, Taylor Woodrow and Barr. Multi-disciplined contract with major Geotechnical aspects with high profile environmental issues. Involved construction of 20km of new green field dual 3 lane motorway and 11km of symmetrical widening of the existing dual 2-lane carriageway. 20 structures including a 1000m long multi-unit precast platform on top of a 12 m high reinforced embankment. |

Position Held: Planning Manager– Responsible for all planning aspects with a major input into the design co-ordination, as well as providing technical support to the site team. Production of all long, medium and short term programmes, and monitoring of progress. Also had major input into the financial forecast and Earned Value Analysis, both of which were programme driven. Risk analysis was carried out using Crystal Ball. Programming was carried out utilising Pertmaster 4.26 for windows and I had a direct input into development of this package with Pertmaster.
