Employed by EC Harris as a Senior Planning/Project Controls Manager I was seconded to British Airport Authority as their Lead Planner on the Airfield Project and headed up a team of ten planners from various employers. Twelve subprojects were managed through the gateway process from conception through to handover. Project Controls were managed through bespoke software enabling the maintenance of budget and schedule across the T5 Programme of Projects. Roll up reporting was adopted together with Earned Value Management to monitor and control the large and complex Programme. Interfaces were managed via Milestone Management Procedures. Latterly I was promoted to the position of Civil Projects Lead Planner.
