Western Range Iron Ore Project,
A two hundred forty three (243) Km of rail track for Arcelor Mittal, connecting the port of Buchanan to that of the iron ore mine in Yekepa, Nimba County. My responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Prepare site working schedule and update (Primavera Version 6.1)
- Progress Tracking of Mainline Track works: Ballast spreading/Tamping, Track Welding, Rail Replacement, Distressing and Track materials Delivered at site
- Progress tracking of Rail culverts
- Progress tracking of Sidings and Switches
- Progress tracking of Rail Bridges
- Prepare 30 days lookahead and update weekly
- Collect daily reports from field Supervisors and Engineers
- Review daily reports to ensure that it is accurate
- Take progress photos during the course of every week (reflecting men at work) to be used for the monthly reports and presentations
- Carrying out field inspections (weekly) on the quantities of work done and prepare punch list based on the specifications of the project
- Prepared database for the entire project tracking each Rail road activities
