Civil engineer, 26 years of professional experience, Master in Project Management (MPM), University for International Cooperation, UCI. Graduated from the Advanced Management Program in Development Projects, the Central American Institute of Public Administration, ICAP. Member of the Project Management Committee of the College of Civil Engineers of Costa Rica. Works for 20 years for the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, has served as Project Director in such works as the Extension of Thermal Power Plant Moin (108 MWe), Cerro Chiripa Seismological Observatory, Museum of History and Technology of Grupo ICE, institutional buildingsgroups.
Also a member of project team and construction manager in transmission substations associated with power generation projects such as the Arenal Hydroelectric Complex Corobicí-Sandillal and Geothermal Central Miravalles. Currently working in the field of Engineering Cost and Budgets, and Related Services UEN Projects in the planning and budget construction power generation projects in feasibility stage and running. Before joining the ICE - Construction Energy, he served as Project Engineer Construction Company Van der Laat & Jiménez, one of the best companies providing construction services in the Central American territory.
Fresh out of the UCR, he served as head of Control and Supervision of Work in the Office of Planning and Control of Windows-Garita Hydroelectric Project.
