Manage Project remits, Design remits, Scope register from UK / Client and take necessary action. Planning, Monitoring and controlling projects in terms of costs and schedules for various Mainline Network Rail Projects like Route 7 alliance, Rugby & Nuneaton, Basingstoke, Newport phase1A, North London line . Selected Project Experience |
2007 – 2009: As Senior Planning Engineer for Rugby and Nuneaton works at Sharjah REP GDC, handled planning activitiesinvolving program development, baselining, updating, analysis and reporting for GDC, assisted design managers in allocating resources, raised change requests promptly and ensured the designs are timely delivered within the budget. The Project was delivered on time, on budget and in a professional manner and our contribution to the project ensured that Network Rail was able to meet their commitment to Virgin Trains to deliver the December 2008 timetable change. This is the most radical timetable change that UK’s rail network has seen since privatisation with major step changes in service levels and increased line speeds to 125mph. Total cost of the project being handled was 1.2 million GBP (approx.). 2010: As Senior Planning Engineer for North London Line Route Infrastructure works at Sharjah / Bangaloiore REP, handled planning activitiesinvolving program development, updating, analysis and reporting for the office, assisted design managers in allocating resources, raised change requests promptly and ensured that the designs are timely delivered within the budget so far. Total cost of the project being handled is 2.1 million GBP (approx.). Successful commissioning of Stage S – an interim signalling solution crucial for final commissioning was an achievement as the design works were commissioned in 3 months time. |
