How to create the WBS in excel to import to P6???

Hello, first sorry for my English, I know I’ve to improved it. My dude is:

I’ve a problem, I’d like to import an excel file in which I’ve created the WBS to create a new project but I can’t do it. Some people told me that it’s impossible because when you export an excel file of P6 if the row have (*) you can´t change it. Is it true?

Please, if you know how to do it tell me it.
