Interim EOT Determination

Hi Guys,

Engineer makes an Interim Extension of Time Determination in a project which has got 30% of time to be elapsed.EOT determined is for 4 more months from the baseline completion.

In this context, does the contractor need to extend his Performance Guarantee till that time period? I sit same the case with Workmen Compensation Policy too?
