I’m suffering too many troubles with P6 based on SQL, strange error code messages which results in exit and terminating the interface and loss some date and layouts.
I guess that; It’s about the connection establishment with the SQL server, although I’m using local-server.
Now, I know that; P6 can be configured to be working with SQL and Oracle, the first platform is provided with the installation CDs to be installed first then configuring the database to be created on the SQL server.
My question is; what I have to do in order to create my database based on Oracle platform instead of SQL, and how can I switch between them?
Do I miss understand such topics? Please advice.
