P3 causes general protection fault in .dll

I know there are folks out there getting this error, I’ve searched the web and the only reference was on this forum, but the fix given was’t the answer to the problem.

Here’s the error:
P3 caused a General Protection Fault in module CORSRVR.DLL at 000A:399A.

If anyone has any answer as to why this is happening, I’d be extremely grateful.

running p3 w/ sp3 and windows xp w/ sp3 all updates and patches for windows are installed.
