Instruction for a Variation after T.O.C

Dear Friends,

Please, can anybody tell me? if terms of FIDIC 4th, what is the contractual position for both the Employer and the Contractor in case of the Engineer issue an instruction for a variation within the defect liability period?

By the way I tried to find any reference from the FIDIC for that specific case but I failed.

Please I need your sincere help.
