I’ve been planning for 1.5 years now and currently developing my experience and career. I’m currently employeed on a permanent contract by a small planning consultancy company as a assistant/junior.
I’m currently on a low salary and getting tempted by contracting job roles. As taking a job as a contracted assistant planner, the money would obviously be far higher.
If I moved to contract work would my career development be put at risk. Would I be able to be a full planner by contracting for a number of years as an assistant/junior?
