Resource Curves

I am trying to display resource curves in Primavera P3e. I have selected "Bell Curve" against the resource ID name in the activity details section. However when I move to the Resource usage profile, it doesn’t seem to make any difference to the shape of the resource. I have read the help file and have made sure that my activity is fixed durations & Units/Time. But whatever I change the resource curve to it doesn’t seem to be changing the shape of the resource! What am I doing wrong?!
