Windows XP SP2 and P3 E/C problems

We are running into a serious issue with P3 v4.1 and machines already preloaded with Windows XP SP2. The issues is when we load P3 it will not allow XP to add, view, or manage printers anymore. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
