Remaining duration

Hi folks

how can you have remaining duration without having to give % complete, (task don’t have a resources)
example:
civil works: on data date: 10NOV09
early start: 10NOV09
early finish: 20NOV09
OD=10days RD=10days
civil works: on data date: 15NOV09
Actual start: 12NOV09
early finish: 24NOV09
OD=10days RD=10days

how can you explain this ????
