A question,
Say the contract is to build 100 steel portals and the contract completion key date is 30June.
1. The actual completion of the portals was 30 November.
2. The employer is assessed to have delayed the contract to this date due to late access for 30 of the portals.
3. However, the contractor did not finish the remaining 70portals until 30August.
What is the EOT/prolongation costs assesed at?
5 months due to the employers delay to overall compeltion date? or...
5months - 2 months = 3months to take into account the delay of the contractor.
Thx
