There is a P3 version called "Finest Hour", This software allows you to schedule in Hours. I dont know if it is still available in the market. We used this software when it was still in DOS version. You can always inquire with Primavera.

Its not too much difference when youre working with hour based calendar. Youll find an extra scale in calendar definition form - hours. Of course now youll deal with working time for each day. By default P3 assumes that each working day is starting at 12:00 AM and ending at 11:59 PM. So youve to change this extra night shift standard calendar according to you scenario.

P3 can schedule in hours. When you start a new project, select hours next to planning unit.
