Thats really important thing - the color splash logo and its nothing about P3 - just check your monitor Color Quality in the Display Properties->Settings. If youve got 32 bit or higher youre doomed to see the grey logo. You can change the color depth to 16 bit and get the P3s color logo back - but I dont think it worth it. :-)

even "re-link" it when setting up the print layout setup in P3.
Even in PREVIEW mode, the logo sometimes appear and sometimes dont. But hardcopy printout always without the logo.
teach me how to correct the "color" splash screen...
maybe it wil also solve the missing logo problem...
i read/heard somewhere before that P3.1 is not 100% compatible with XP... some graphic display issue...
that is why i was wondering is there a patch that overcome this problem... you r right the color splash screen is not an issue, but the reports without the logo is a "downgrade" when i can have company logo on the graphics when using Win ME previously...
Your company logo file may be already stored in you local drive and when you update the system the file simply got wiped. So just copy the file back to your original location and reassige the logo in the print menu.
And you can ignore the black and white thing... it do not affect anything in the operation... if you still insist to display the color when you log on I can teach you how

Hi All
I Think Inserting The Logo Is On Of The Top 10 Topiks in this forum
I use word files to inset logos
paste your logo in a "word" File
select that file as your logo
whenever p3 starts word also will starts
to appear logo in p3 close that word file BUT DO NOT CLOSE WORD APPLICATION
this works wondefully in P3 V.1

Hi Eugene,
Have you installed the service pack 3 already?
If not, try to install it and check it again.

Hi Eugene,
To solve your Logo problem, do the following steps:
1. Open your logo in BMP format from Paint Brush.
2. From pull down menu, select Edit then "Select All".
3. Again from pull down menu, Select "Copy".
4. From C:\P3WIN\P3PROGS directory, double click "Prmdraw.exe"
5. From Primavera Draws pull down menu, select Edit then "Paste".
6. Choose "BMP" for clipboard format.
7. Save your logo now as PMT format.
8. Finish
You could insert now your logo to your print out.
Cheers Mate!
Jaime
PS: Will someone teach me also how to make the black and white splash screen to color. Thanks
