i tried it to open 2 projects but i cant link activities to the other activities of different open project schedule and the grouping is different from the other (my grouping is in project level not global)
Remember when you open more than one project to schedule/level that EACH project has a float path.
If you need to process multiple projects so that they only have one float path each project must have its "Must Finish by" date set to the same value. Leaving the date blank will not do

If you open both (or more) projects, common scheduling is no problem. The data date should be the same down to the minutes.
Automatted resource-levelling we dont use, so I have no experience.
