Sarah,

I do not use P6 but recall hearing about a 1 minute issue between a start milestone and finish milestone.

Has the 1 minute issue between a finish milestone and a start milestone been fixed?

Yes, this was resolved in P6 v6.2

If you are using a milestone to define project start and it is of the finish milestone type try changing it to the start milestone type.

Hi Mike,

I have created this xer in P6 version 7.0 and I have imported into version 6.0. It's fine in version 7.0 but it goes funny in 6.0.

I am not sure what you mean by disabling the resources calendar as I am unable to not select a calendar for resources.

I have made sure the calendars for both the project and the resource reflect the same work hours.

There must be something in the programme that is saying that the activities cannot start at 7:00am but at 7:01am. It has me stumped though as I have tired every single solution I can think of to fix it.

My user preferences & admin preferences are both set to 10hr days.

I have tried adjusting the actual day of the 26th on both calendars to start work at 6:30 (10.5hr) day and then I reschedule the programme 26th 6:30, which I thought might eleminate the problem given the spare 0.5hr but still the activities due to start on the 26th still show as starting at 7:01.

No matter what data date I schedule the programme to it always shows activities starting at 7:01 on the data date.

Very frustrating as my remaining durations don't actually equal the difference between my start & finish dates anymore as they are all out by one day.

Anywho - thanks for your help Mike.

Regards,

Sarah

Hi Sarah

This seems to be some sort of system glitch which sometime happen with different calendars on tasks and resources

Are you using the same calendar for both?

If not try disabling your resource calendar for this excercise.

Thanks Mike. What do you mean by that though?

I am rescheduling 26th 00:00.
