The differences are far too vast to describe in a single post response! The two programs are COMPLETELY different. Actually, it is pretty hard to find similarities, other than the appearance of the activities on the screen. Mainly, P3 is "Btrieve" based and P6 is "Oracle" based.
The basic course material will give you an idea... P6 is extremely powerful and versatile, but the learning curve is intense and steep.
