ØDevelop project proposals, ensure estimates have the required accuracy and obtain approval; | |
ØCoordinate personnel in controlling the value, cost and schedule of the project; | |
ØCoordinate the staffing of the project team which varies over the time of the project; | |
ØNegotiate arrangements for design with engineering consultants, internal and external; | |
ØCoordinate the preparation of documentation for manufacturing and construction bidding. Participate in the selection process and recommend contractors; | |
ØEstablish team on site and coordinate the construction, startup and commissioning of the project deliverables; | |
ØApprove contract variations and payments within authority; | |
ØGuide and direct personnel in the application of specific government and industry standards; | |
ØPrepare a monthly reports showing status of design, material procurement, construction, milestones, payments, charges, variances and issues; | |
ØManage project risk. Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing or costs; | |
ØClose out projects and facilitate lessons learned. Prepare post-implementation reports for management. |
