These are unique roles that cover all project management processes and knowledge areas. Responsibility includes problem solving, reviewing, advising and assisting Suncor's major and sustaining projects portfolios, providing assurance that the project services, project control functions is in accordance with the in-house and best practices requirements of the following elements: project planning & scheduling, cost estimating, interface management, project risk and documentation. Conduct project gate reviews and implementation audit, risk/sensitivity assessment, time management, scope & progress verification, reporting and project coordination. Troubleshoot Primavera System and Database issues, including its maintenance and administration, creation & review of standards, procedures and work practices; creation, preparation and rolling out of necessary training courses, schedule quality check, benchmarking, reporting, forecasting, critical path analysis, facilitates interactive planning sessions, document lessons learned, executes MOC process from trends to system inputs. Other roles include: Senior Project Advisor, Senior Primavera Advisor, Schedule Management Users Group Lead, Community of Practice Website Owner/Administrator, Training Advisor/Coordinator, and BPO representative.

Project Control Governance focal point for planning & scheduling advice and the subject matter expert on risk sensitivity assessment & analysis. Provide guide and expert judgment on project progress measurement, benchmarking, and cost/schedule forecasting & reporting. Other responsibilities include gate reviews, problem solving, advising, and giving expert opinion to Suncor's major and sustaining projects.
