A 1.80 million square meter facility comprising terminal and concourse area, designed to boast the airport’s capability of handling 17 million passengers annually in line with the government’s vision to attract business and tourism in the region, Dubai being the center of economic activities in the coming years. Five (5) underground basements makes up the terminal area for arrivals and departures, the baggage handling system, the high speed passenger train, with provision for the Light Railway Transport. Apron, on the other hand is made up of lounges and hotels.
