Planner, PEDEC, MIS& Azar oil fields development projects, Kish gas field development project

Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) manages and supervises the implementation of major oil and gas projects in Iran. I was involved in different Oil and Gas Field Development Projects including: Azar, Kish, and Masjed-I-Suleyman. I was started my job as a technical data collector. I built my skills and slowly and surely was promoted. My last position was senior planner and project control engineer.
My responsibilities in these projects were:
•Actively contributing to contractual meetings and review documents.
•Finalising contractual requirements relating to planning/ scheduling, progress measuring& reporting.
•Reviewing and finalising project management documents (WBS, CBS, Time Schedules, Progress Measurement System and S-Curves).
•Identifying inconsistencies in the plans and identifying opportunities for plan activity acceleration.
•Working with all stakeholders to status plans and identifying barriers to successful execution.
•Building and maintaining the database of important milestones to ensure objectives are met within agreed timeframes.
•Regular site visiting.
•Participating in regular project cost review/ scheduling meeting.
•Preparing and controlling cost reports and cash flow diagrams.
•Monitoring and analysing schedules and status of contractors during all phases of the project and identify project’s variations.
•Discussing variances and delays with the project manager and recommending remedial actions.
•Preparing management progress reports.
