·         Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract.

·         Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.

·         Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.

·         Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify                             areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.

·         Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.

·         Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.

·         Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.

·         Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.

·         Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.

·         Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for tenders.

·         Ensure that all the preparation and arrangement are in place before and during testing and commissioning.

·         Prepare all tools, equipment and manpower necessary to carry out the testing and commissioning.

·         Coordinate with Main Contractor MEP Coordinator & Safety Officer for a safe and proper execution of the works.

·         Carry out pre-inspection and conduct pre-testing to ensure that the system and area under test is complete and fully functional.

·         Facilitate the submission of testing and commissioning Work Inspection Request and ensure that the documentation is complete and duly signed by all concerned parties.

Provide all necessary information required.

Project:       DALMA AND AL YASSAT TOWER

      Designation: ELECTRICAL QA/QC

                         June 2008 – February 2009 

·         Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspection within their discipline.

·         Coordinate all site inspection with main-contractor.

·         Ensure that all reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.

·         Review all inspection reports for compliance.

·         Assist the QA/QC manager in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system.

·         Liaise with the site with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested.

·         Prepare non-conformance reports to the QA/QC manager and assist in developing corrective actions.

·         Assist the QA/QC manager and Construction Manager in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities.

·         Coordinates with the Consultants for the resolution of site problem.

·         Coordinate with the main-contractor to ensure that communications exist and are maintained.

·         Assist the site construction engineers in the drawing interpretation.

·         Attend the weekly/monthly QA/QC meetings.

·         Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations.

·         The issuance of non-conformance reports in conjunction with the QA/QC manager.

·         The completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure the review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities.
