Site Planning Engineer, National Grid - Electricity East Alliance , National Grid - Refurbishment Norton Spennymoor 400kv and New Line Tees Crossing

·         Develop, optimise, and agree assigned project  programmes covering the construction aspect of the programme , including milestone definition/achievement, resource planning, cost control  and outage planning, to deliver the work with Asset Management, Network Operations, the Construction Programme Manager, Delivery Manager, Development Manager and Design Manager.

 

·         Administer programme risk register for assigned projects within the change management process.

 

·         As required assisting in the preparation of performing Schedule Risk  Analysis.

 

·         Provides project closure reports in a timely manner.

 

·         Ensure Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES) aspects of all schemes within sphere of responsibility are managed and focused to continually improve performance.

 

·         Develop project delivery plans to facilitate timely project completion working in conjunction with Site managers and project managers.

 

·         Working with Site QS in the progress chasing of deliverables – Sub- Contract – supply chain and design to facilitate achievement of site activities.

 

·         Provision of range of monthly site reports and 1-4 week look ahead programmes as dictated by Site Management requirements.  (Earned Value, Milestone achievement, critical path, resource profiles, variance reports)

 

·         Working with project team members in the production of validated performance, earned value and percentage completion reports on a monthly basis.
