Civil Engineer

A.      Review contract and FEED documents and coordinate with engineering and construction team to prepare the procedure, work method statement and specifications for submittal to the client.

Proposal Engineer (Geotechnical)

A.      In charge in preparing technical and commercial proposals/quotations and cost estimation for Geotechnical Investigation Services and in some cases for Topographic Survey

·         Receive a request for proposal

·         Send Acknowledgement letter (fax or email)

·         Check whether company is interested to bid by making a Yes or No decision (after consulting supervisor)

·         Preliminary Analysis of the request for proposal

·         Preparation and addressing of Pre-bid clarifications

·         Attending job explanation or clarification meetings and/or communicating (by email or telephone) with the clients regarding the subject request for proposal (if any)

·         Thorough and methodological analysis of the request for proposal (reviewing Scope of work, Specifications, Instruction to Bidders, Applicable Drawings/Plans)

·         Schedule preparation of proposal based on the other jobs on hand and due date of the RFP

·         Develop the design for the proposal program (Introduction, Scope of Work, Schedule of Work, Budgeting, Deliverables, Project Organization, Time Schedule, Terms and Conditions, Deviations)

·         Preparing Cost Estimation

·         Preparing Bar Chart Schedule, Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and other Prequalification Documents (if needed for the bid submittal)

·         Discuss with BD Manager & General Manager the proposal and obtain approval before submission to the client

·         Present the proposal to the prospective client (fax, email or sealed bid package)

·         Follow up for the status of the bid/s submitted

·         Address post bid clarifications (if any)

B.      Assist the Business Development Manager in reviewing & finalizing contracts.

C.      Be aware of the market changes and identify upcoming opportunities for the Company.

D.      Takes full responsibilities for conversions of various cost elements in the preliminary budget revisions in case of contract award & forward to project management department after compilation through BD Manager.
