2.strategic Estates Management including space management/planning & design, acquisitions and disposals:
3. Identification of opportunities for cost and operational improvements through developments in areas of management responsibility and the wider Force estate.
4. Developing and maintaining a fully costed Strategic Asset Plan for the local Police and the Police Authority. 7. Ensuring that proper management arrangements exist for the control of the Force’s supplies, stock, assets and cash, including risk management issues.
8. To monitor external supply contracts ensuring that they are properly let, managed and reviewed.
9. Develop and implement practices to promote and protect health, safety, security, and the quality of work life, the environment and organizational effectiveness.
10. Represent the Director of Finance and Administration at internal and external meetings relating to the postholder’s areas of responsibility.
11. To perform other duties commensurate with the grade and role of the postholder in the organisation.
