Mr. Gerald Barra has extensive experience in managing project control functions and staff on large-scale projects and programs ranging from $110 Million to $750 Million. He has a proven track record for organizing, streamlining and implementing project control procedures and systems. Mr. Barra has the strong ability to anticipate problems and to expedite resolutions in order to mitigate cost and schedule impacts on projects. He is knowledgeable in integrating diverse engineering functional and technical groups with construction needs. Moreover, Mr. Barra has the ability to work under tight deadlines to provide the necessary and required products for project control. Areas of expertise include: project controls management; CPM scheduling; project management; contract administration – scope management; claims and dispute resolution; and systems on large-scale projects.

Mr. Barra joined the Louis Berger Group in September 2009 and brings more than 38 years of experience in the construction industry. He is currently assigned as a Senior Scheduling Consultant on the multi-billion dollar World Trade Center Redevelopment Program in Lower Manhattan.

Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
