Nugeneration ltd (NuGen) May 2016 - Present PMO PLANNING MANAGER (Nuclear New Build)
• Recruited as the Planning Manger within the PMO function of NuGen, working solely on the Moorside NPP development in Cumbria UK. Current budget £350M, Project Capital Costs circa £20Bn.
• Initial tasks successfully delivered a fully integrated schedule across all functions and departments within the project to enable a holistic view of the early phases.
• Achieved greater clarity and consistency within the PMO by providing support and direction to all Project Control functions in developing a suite of Project Controls Documentation, including standards/procedures/work instructions and guidance notes.
• Developed close liaison and positive relationships with 3rd party sub-contractors, providing clear direction by developing requirements/specifications that align with NuGen expectations.
• Development of short/medium and long-term objectives for the Planning function, including strategy, technical enhancements, interface management, resource growth, which provided a sound platform for use in understanding the complex interactions of Nuclear New Build programme of works.
