In our project there are three post tensioned bridges connected by service culverts and the services Such as District cooling , water, irrigation , sewer , LV HV etc are going through that.
We have a provision in the contract for a lifting system to be installed inside the culverts and the voids in the bridges for maintenance; for which the contract documents have very little information.
Despite many requests earlier, almost near the end of the project the client has asked us to propose a system with design. We have co ordinated with many firms and the details they are coming up with is very disruptive of our services installation.
So we have decided to decline the clients request. Is it the right thing to do??
