I am moving from IT projects to Oil & Gas construction projects. Therefore I would like to know the following:

1) The approach you use to plan and schedule in oil/gas construction projects.

2) Basics/Fundamentals of civil/structural, mechanical/piping, electrical/instrumentation (construction).
