Bob Cooper explains the recent changes made to the Delay and Disruption Protocol by the Society of Construction Law

The Society of Construction Law is reviewing its Delay and Disruption Protocol, which was issued in 2002, a process that will ultimately result in the preparation of a second edition. In the first of a series of review updates, the Society has changed its guidelines for retrospective delay analysis. An experienced professional with over 35 years experience in the international construction industry. He specialises in the preparation of delay analysis and forensic planning for contractual claims and in dispute resolution proceedings. He is a registered expert with the Academy of Experts in London and has acted as a planning expert in disputes in the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East. He has given evidence at hearings on a number of occasions. Ian is a member of the Association of Project Management and has given lectures to universities in programme management.  Contact
