DURATION FORMAT – AN EXTRACT FROM PLANNING AND CONTROL USING PRIMAVERA BY PAUL E HARRIS |
Often schedulers like to keep all activity durations to round numbers so activities will start at the start of a day and finish at the end of a day. When durations are not round days in duration then successor activities will not start at the start of a day and one day activities will span two days, etc. By default, Oracle Primavera P6 does not indicate when an activity has a non-round duration. To adjust how the date and time are displayed: - Select Edit, User Preferences…,
- Select the Time Units tab,
- The Duration Format section determines how the activity durations are displayed,
- It is important that the Show Duration label and Sub-units are checked and you will immediately when non round days for durations have been created.
