Got "What it Takes" to be a Guild Pilot?
Posted Thu, 2016-08-25 10:09 by PP Admin
The Olympics have ended! Most of us will have watched and admired the athletes: the will to win, the competitive spirit and the refusal to give up.
None of the above would help any of the competitors without training from experts and a regime that enables each athlete to make the most of themselves and their God-given skills or prowess - oh and funding in some cases...
You all know where we're going with this don't you?
The Guild of Project Controls will soon be able to announce world class training for the Project Controls athletes amongst you.
Imagine though, that every perspective competitor had a book to work from that guaranteed to help achieve success... which is exactly the gift The Guild has published - for all Project Controls Practitioners. Whatever skill level or industry you work in... Wherever you are... The Guild calls it the Compendium & Reference (our CaR).
Since our last email calling for Guild Pilots we have been inundated with requests to get involved; thanks everyone.
To cope with the demand we are implementing things as follows...
The Guild is offering Lifetime Memberships for the cost of an Annual Subscription HERE.... and we are bundling in a free Intermediate (beginner) Level Certification in one or more of the following:
in Planning & Scheduling (GiPS)
in Cost Management (GiCM)
in Forensic Analysis (GiFA)
HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO NOT ONLY JOIN BUT ALSO BE ON THE FIRST STEP OF CERTIFICATION... ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS IN THE CaR!
The PILOT test is online, at your home or office, over 90 minutes using single-response, multiple-response, drag-and-drop, rank-ordering and statement-matching type questions and if you pass you will receive the Certification - for new Lifetime Members the test is free.
As these are PILOT tests, designed to validate the questions and answers, they will be "OPEN-BOOK" tests meaning you can refer to the CaR if you need to. As a result the 90 minute time limit will very likely be extended too; be warned though - you will not be able to pass unless you are at actively familiar with much of what is in the Modules relevant to the exam you are taking.
