MLS Project Controls Workshops are a great way to gain an overview and understanding of Project Controls, its importance to your industry and the areas it covers. Project Controls is often forgotten as a crucial part of Project Management and the Project Life Cycle. 

MLS deliver complex and innovative projects across the transport and infrastructure and energy and Industrial sectors, designing and delivering great engineering solutions both nationally and internationally with our roles as designer, principal contractor, framework partner and maintainer ensure we appreciate critical issues from the viewpoints of all project stakeholders. We can offer multidisciplinary design services to all industries and have completed high-profile projects throughout Europe.

We believe in not just analysing the Management operations and giving you a consultant’s report on these, but putting the training, modern techniques and systems in place to sustain cost effective efficiency improvements.  

Project Control and Earned Value Management are critical skills to monitor, assess, and analyze performance on the project and determine root causes of any significant variances in order for the team to establish the necessary and appropriate actions.

Therefore, this workshop covers the essentials of strategy and methodology, then move onto the steps of project control, including Scheduling, Cost Control, Risk Management, Performance Measurement and Forensic Assessment.

These workshops are available throughout the UK and also ran for individual clients and universities to increase their knowledge and improve Project Delivery. You do not need to be an expert within the Projects arena to attend and learn from these workshops. The aim is to bring people together from various backgrounds and industries who have involvement with projects. The workshops will encourage learning's from case studies across multiple industries, learn best practices and discuss lessons learned on top of exercises to allow greater understanding of how Project Controls are utilised.

  • London – 8th August
  • Aberdeen – 12th September
