Our GUILD GROUP QATAR held its' first meeting on the 18th November at the Intercontinental Hotel, Doha - QATAR GROUP Antoine Jalkh – Project Payment Application Assessment Overview:: - Invoicing methodology shall be agreed and cleared between all parties at the Project initial stage.
- IPA assessment shall always be fairly associated with the Contractor or Consultant progress performance.
- Interim payment applications might be assessed in different methods.
- Progress measurement system has been recognized as best practice in construction industry.
- High level weightage factor having a combined scale of project characteristics (cost, man-hour and duration) is a best recommended practice approach.
- Activity level weightage factor with one single dimension approach is the fast practical manipulation process.
- Progress activity scale has different method for measurement: Design and Engineering as well as Procurement is based on incremental milestone method whereas the Construction and Testing & Commissioning is based on physical progress.
