Did you know that we are working with some of our members in Australia to organise communities and face to face meetings in various locations? Why? Simply to allow some of us to share information, meet, say hello and even talk about planning and other issues.
In case you are not aware, we now have an Interest Group in Australia which you are welcome and encouraged to join. The group will update us of local events, has a dedicated discussion forum and relevant, and can contain regional information. Read more - http://www.planningplanet.com/australia
We are also liaising with planners and project controllers in the region who are working on some small / informal gatherings of planners. The first meetings are confirmed as follows:

These meetings are starting off small and will grow and develop into dynamic representations of our powerful community; run by the planners, for the planners.
The meetings can communicate progress being made by the GPPCD Guild and can be used to request for information / answers and also as a platform to recieve information and answers etc.
One question that has been posed to ourselves is "how we as planner / schedulers can consolidate our image and provide evidence of benefits to businesses who’ve engaged us" - do you want to attend a meeting to give your opinions?
