Kevin is 60, married with two children and 4 grandchildren.

Thirty plus years working in Project Controls in the UK and overseas has left its scars and memories. Added to that some Field engineering roles that have given me a good insight of the problems poor engineering and planning can cause and the need for the 5 P’s to be maintained. I still have the capacity to learn, every new position I undertake teaches me something new.
I am highly experienced and motivated senior planner with extensive experience of monitoring, coordinating different disciplines to resolve interface concerns and controlling projects, providing clients with added value through effective project controls on small projects working under own supervision to being a member of a large international team on multi-billion dollar projects.
My experience covers Energy/Oil & Gas/Petro Chemicals/Rail/Food related industries with extensive project capability. This experience has been gained whilst working for various local and international companies such as, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, ExxonMobil, Transfield Worley (NZ), Mitsui Babcock, Suez Fabricom, Foster Wheeler, ABB, Petroleum Development Oman, Dubai Petroleum Company, Amec and SLP.
As a senior/lead I recognise the need for strong leadership skills, am able to coerce information from different engineering levels to resolve planning and engineering issues. From my planning experience I was also given the role as Field Project Engineer which combined with my extensive planning capability enabled me to resolve construction clashes and highlight potential issues during method statement revues. When carrying out the process of Senior/Lead planning, I am able to utilize a combination of technical knowledge, social and personal skills and conceptual ability to ensure projects/tasks are completed to the mutual satisfaction of all stakeholders.
I have also undertaken roles as a mentor to graduates who have chosen to be either project engineers or project controllers.
