The Collaborative BIM Group Accreditation Scheme is for professionals who want to be accredited in BIM from 3D to 7D. The creation of this will be a world first and will draw in clients and companies who have an interest in developing BIM for current and future projects. The BIM Accreditation Scheme is currently being set-up within the Group with all participating sponsors of the Group.

The Accreditation Scheme will act as a mechanism for the development of professionals in contractors and design consultancies who wish to become professional BIM implementation individuals or are companies that want their staff to become more knowledgeable in BIM for the benefit of their companies and the winning and delivering of BIM projects on and off site.

The accreditation scheme will also link up with the accreditation scheme for the planning and scheduling professions, also being currently developed by the Guild.

Once members have completed the application process within the Guild within the Collaborative BIM Group, they will become Members of the Guild of Project Planning Controls and Delivery in Building Information Modeling (MGPPCD-BIM).
